This wasn’t just any win—it came down to the wire. Game 1? Decided by just TWO pins. Game 2? A hard-fought battle won by SEVEN. When the pressure was on, Josh, Rebekka, Michael, Alejandro, Ziv, and Malena delivered strikes like Mahomes in OT—except with fewer touchdowns and more dramatic spare attempts.

🔹 Josh – The Brickell Key Bitcoin Bro™️, balancing his love for crypto and his actual love, Malena. He might not be the team’s secret weapon on the lanes, but his spark shines elsewhere—mostly in making Brickell Key real estate prices skyrocket.

🔹 Ziv – The IT genius and team captain, making sure both the team’s morale and the league’s WiFi stay connected. His leadership is undeniable, his tech skills are top-notch, and his bowling? Well, let’s just say, if strikes were coded, he’d have a perfect game every week.

🔹 Alex – It’s rumored he wakes up every morning to a framed picture of the Commissioner, whispering words of motivation. We’re still actively searching for a sport he’s bad at. So far, no results. Scientists and sports analysts remain stumped.

🔹 Rivers – The Romeo of the league, moved from Tampa for love. The plot twist? His love is on the opposing team. A true sports drama unfolding before our eyes. He missed this game but was crucial in last week’s win, proving that absence does make the heart (and team) grow fonder.

🔹 Rebekka Rios – There’s one thing we can say with 100% certainty—Bekka is going to complain about something. Whether it’s lane conditions, ball weight, or the existence of gravity itself, she will find a way. But let’s not forget—she’s also this year’s Oktoberfest champion! Bowling title AND Oktoberfest? She’s collecting trophies like she collects grievances.

Well, folks, the first week of bowling kicked off with a blast, and it’s already given us a superstar in the making. This week’s Player of the Week honor goes to none other than Alex (or Alejandro, depending on the mood), Miami’s own blue-eyed bowling wonder!

In a nail-biter of a third game against the fierce Bowljobs, Alex rolled an impressive 171, clinching the victory in true underdog style. Picture this: the score was neck-and-neck, the tension was high, and Alex’s final frames were nothing short of poetry in motion. His calm focus and sharp aim saved the day, winning the game and our hearts.

When he’s not gracing the lanes, Alex is a regular renaissance man. He’s an avid fan of kickball, a lover of pickleball, and you’ll often find him at the ballpark enjoying a game of baseball. And as a true Miami native, Alex balances his love for sports with a love for good times, including hanging out with the queen of Oktoberfest herself!
